The solid Ash block is cut by hand, and, depending on the artwork, either sanded smooth, or left rough-cut, before being hand-painted white and over-printed with UV ink. A sawtooth hanger and protection pads are fixed to the reverse so it's ready to hang on a wall. The artwork is packed in a natural jute hessian material and presented in a Coulson Macleod-branded gift box made from recycled cardboard.
The 24cm x 24cm solid Ash block is cut by hand, and, depending on the artwork, either sanded smooth, or left rough-cut, before being hand-painted white and over-printed with UV ink. The frame is handmade using reclaimed antique Victorian roof timbers. We purposefully retain any defects in the timber to add to the charm and character of the piece. These can include knot holes, nail holes, warps and water marks, so each frame is totally unique.
